The Maker Potluck

A closed, invite-only community of creators sharing their content

Maker Capitalism

The internet is a great place, where everyone's creating awesome content, be it books, courses, podcasts or software. Unfortunately, we can't give everything out for free, because we need money to support our lifestyle and family. After all, it's our job.

It worked with Open Source

Open Source is an exception to this. It's a community of developers sharing their code and helping others to make its code better. You aren't losing money by sharing your code because you now also can use other's code.

Money Circle

If I buy your course and you buy mine, we're both losing money (payment processor fees, taxes, etc). Instead, we could go back to an older system, the barter.

The Maker Potluck

A potluck is a communal gathering where each guest or group contributes a different, often homemade dish of food to be shared.

What if we took it further?
Imagine a community of makers, where everyone shares their content with others, and gets everyone's else content in exchange. This way, everyone gets a lot more value than they're providing.
